Community Call for Dengue Control Product Suggestions


There has been much discussion regarding the products used to control dengue (breakbone fever) in our community. We understand the concerns and want to ensure that we select the most effective and safe products for our use. Therefore, we invite community members to suggest products that meet the following eligibility requirements:


  1. Approval Evidence: Products must have evidence of approval by the national health authority, Cofepris. Any additional certifications will also be beneficial.
  2. Application Protocol: A detailed description of the supplier's application protocol must be provided.
  3. Official Quote: An official quote from the supplier should be included.
  4. Supplier Contact Information: Complete contact information for the local supplier is necessary.



Submission Process and Evaluation


  • Suggestions Registration: The community will have until November 30th to submit their suggestions. 
  • Evaluation: By December 4th, all submissions will be reviewed for compliance with the eligibility requirements.
  • Presentation to the Community: No later than December 15th, options that meet the eligibility criteria will be shared with the community. 



The best suggestions will be considered for the 2025 operations and budget plan. Please note that the implementation of any selected product will depend on the approval of the budget during the assembly.
